In your business, your core is just as vital! 

The core of a business is broken down into four important parts: 

  • Purpose
  • Focus
  • Values
  • Stories

In this episode of the podcast, I’m helping you define your company’s purpose. 

Motivational author and speaker Simon Sinek puts it simply: why does your company exist, and why should anyone care? In other words, what does your company aim to achieve besides making money? What does your company give back to your community or society?

Defining your company’s purpose gives your employees a ‘north star’ to help guide them and keep them motivated. Powerful things happen when all the employees of a company rally together around a common goal. 

Your company’s ability to prosper is driven by having a strong core purpose. A truly strong company purpose is inspiring and timelessly valid in society. It helps you think expansively about where your company could end up. It shows you where you should be and where you definitely do not want to be. 

And above all, it’s authentically yours - and your employees, clients, and the community you interact with will see it clearly in everything you do.
